Ness Plant are seeking to employ a Technical Sales Representative to be based from our busy Kinross depot.
The person we require must be proactive and highly motivated with an outgoing personality.
Initially the position will be a depot based administrative role which will allow the successful applicant to learn about the company and structure of the business. With successful training the position will transfer in to a field based role which will require the successful applicant to engage with new and existing customers via direct contact at the customer’s location, telephone, email and social media to promote and sell our products and services, which will in turn build a good customer experience.
This position would ideally suit a candidate with administrative, engineering or a sales background, who feel they could promote our premier products and associated aftersales to the agricultural and construction industries. The candidate must also be prepared to find and open new markets for our products.
The successful applicant must be conscientious, enthusiastic and have good time-keeping skills. You will need to be able to multi task, work well within a team environment and work with minimum of supervision. Previous experience in an aftersales or sales environment would be a benefit but not essential as full product training will be given. Salary and personal package will be tailored to suit the successful candidate according to experience.
As main dealers for Manitou and Yanmar, we require an engineer for our Kinross depot. The role will involve the repair and maintenance of our products, out in the field and in the workshop as required.
The successful applicant must be enthusiastic, conscientious, reliable and hardworking. The successful applicant may be required to work overtime in the evenings and weekends.
Applicants from all engineering backgrounds including semi-skilled and 3rd/4th year apprentices with relevant experience will all be considered.

Due to increasing workload, we have a part time vacancy (approximately 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday) available within our Ness Electrical Forfar office for a Depot Administrator.
You will be required to work closely with the Ness Electrical Management and our Group Head Office, providing support for processing workshop paperwork, along with normal day to day administrative duties.
As the first point of contact for customers, applicants must exhibit a professional telephone manner, be reliable and well presented. Relevant onsite training will be provided and you will be working as part of an experienced team to help maintain established practices.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Electrician or Approved Electrician to join our long established Electrical contracting business. This is a permanent position for the correct person, working mostly in the Angus area, so staying locally is a priority.
The successful applicant will be qualified to the current edition of the wiring regulations and be competent in Inspection and Testing as well as all other aspects of Electrical contracting.
Full driving licence is essential. Company van provided.
